Jones Academy Foundation
Private support offered by individuals, corporations,
foundations, or other organizations is essential to the continued
expansion of facilities and quality educational programming
for Jones Academy’s American Indian youth.
In 2003, to ensure a bright future for Jones Academy,
the Choctaw Nation established Jones Academy Foundation,
a not-for-profit, tax deductible, 501 (c)(3) charitable organization.
Jones Academy Foundation seeks financial commitments from
individuals, corporations, organizations, and foundations
to enhance facilities and programs at Jones Academy in order
to provide exceptional educational and life experiences for
these American Indian children.
100% of your donation goes toward Jones Academy and its
students. Any administrative costs are covered by the Choctaw
Nation of Oklahoma and all board members serve voluntarily.
Appraisals of real and personal property donated to the
Foundation shall be done in accordance with IRS regulations
and any expenses incurred will normally be the donor’s responsibility
(the Foundation Chairman must approve any costs borne by
the Foundation).
The Foundation cannot accept gifts for the academy which
involve unlawful discrimination based upon race, religion,
sex, age, national origin, color, handicap, or any other
basis prohibited by federal, state, and local laws and regulations,
or that violate the Foundation’s certificate of incorporation
of bylaws. |
